The Syn-One Test from CND Life Sciences was recently featured in a story about a Parkinson’s support group on ABC13.
BrightStar Care, an in-home care and medical staffing organization in Lynchburg, Virginia, will feature the Syn-One Test in the first meeting of its new Parkinson’s support group in October.
Jenifer Massie, Director of Operations at BrightStar, in partnership with Inova™ Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center, created this new support group to help patients and caregviers understand new ideas about the causes and symptoms of Parkinson’s. They will also explore how diet and exercise can help patients live well with Parkinson’s and how to navigate a diagnosis.
CND Life Sciences’ Bryant Decker, was also interviewed for the story, and talked about how the Syn-One Test can accurately detect the misfolded alpha-synuclein protein, which can help doctors and their patients create the most effective treatment plan and qualify patients for clinical trials of potentially disease-modifying treatments.
