NeurologyLive Highlights Syn-One Research Presented at ADPD

A recent article in NeurologyLive highlighted a retrospective analysis presented at the 2026 AD/PD International Conference examining how skin biopsy detection of phosphorylated alpha-synuclein (P-SYN) using the Syn-One Test® may be associated with reduced healthcare costs in patients with suspected synucleinopathies.1

Dr. Christopher Gibbons, MD, chief scientific officer and cofounder of CND Life Sciences, led the study and noted “these results suggest that incorporating skin biopsy detection of P‑SYN earlier in the diagnostic workup of suspected synucleinopathies may help streamline clinical decision‑making, reduce reliance on repeated or high‑cost diagnostic testing, and limit unnecessary referrals.”
