Dr. Todd Levine Highlights Role of the Syn-One Test™ in Clinical Research on 17 Branches Podcast

Dr. Todd Levine, Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer of CND Life Sciences made his podcast debut last week when he sat down with Sheryl Lowenhar, founder of 17 Branches, to talk about the Syn-One Test. 17 Branches is a non-profit organization that raises money for Parkinson’s research and organizes outreach events for Parkinson’s patients.

Dr. Levine talks about the history of the search for alpha-synuclein—the misfolded protein that causes Parkinson’s disease—in nerve fibers throughout the body, and why the skin is an ideal place to detect it. He also discusses the role the Syn-One Test plays in improving clinical trials for potential treatments for Parkinson’s, how it can speed up the search for effective treatments, and his long-term vision for the how the test may be able to help delay the onset of Parkinson’s disease.
