Synuclein-One Study

Synucleinopathies are a group of neurodegenerative disorders that result from the deposition of phosphorylated alpha-synuclein within the central and peripheral nervous systems. Synucleinopathies affect over 2 million people in the US and include Parkinson’s disease, multiple system atrophy, dementia with Lewy bodies, pure autonomic failure. Diagnosis is often made late in the disease, making diagnostic testing an urgent unmet need.

About the Study

The Synuclein-One Study is a large scale, prospective, cross-sectional, multicenter validation study of the Syn-One Test™ in 428 subjects with synucleinopathies and 120 control subjects at over 30 site locations throughout the US. The results of the study will be used to advance the clinical utility and application of the Syn-One Test for neurology practices and patients nationwide.
