PARTICIPATE IN OUR RESEARCH STUDY

Syn-T: Analysis of Cutaneous Phosphorylated Alpha-Synuclein to Identify Patients at Risk
of Progressing from Essential Tremor to Parkinson’s Disease

You may qualify if you:

  • Are 50-80 years old and
  • Have been diagnosed with Essential Tremor (ET) or ET-Plus
  • Are willing to participate in all study procedures
  • Are able and willing to provide written informed consent

What is expected from you to participate in the study?

  • Complete an in-person visit that takes approximately 4 hours
  • Provide 3 small skin punch biopsy samples, taken by a trained healthcare professional
  • Complete questionnaires about your symptoms and medical history
  • Allow your biopsy samples to be analyzed for phosphorylated alpha-synuclein (P-SYN) using the Syn-One Test

You may be compensated for up to $250 for each completed study visit.
